Autodesk Inventor

The following are my notes from learning autodesk inventor.

Basics

Inventor has 3 primary file types:

1. parts with .ipt file extension
2. assemblies with .iam file extension
3. drafting documents with .idw or .dwg depending the application option
4. Presentation file with .ipn extension for exploded projections and animations of assemblies
